BIO
Photo credit: San (珊).Jessica Tam has scored for film and television across Asia, from prime time TV to cinematic features. Having trained under renowned Chinese film composer and Golden Horse Award winner Ricky Ho (何國杰), she continues to assist him on projects, honing her ability to weave Asian nuances into the Western orchestra.
Her concert work includes commissions from the Singapore Symphony Orchestra, for which she has orchestrated songs for live performance. And while studying at Berklee College of Music, she won First Place in Berklee's Video Game Scoring Competition, judged by a panel that included game composer Jason Graves and academic figures.
Beyond film music, she has a passion for rock and enjoys creating orchestral arrangements of songs from artists like Pink Floyd, The Smashing Pumpkins, David Bowie and more.
